Afghan Patch Quilt with Ikat

Patch quilt of squares sewen in a diagonal grid and surrounded by an ikat border. The squares are fragments of silk ikats, brocades, & velvets.

Circa: Fragments are 19th c, put together 20th c

Origin: Afghanistan

Material: Silk, velvet, and metallic thread

Condition: Very good
