Baule Striped Blanket

Strip-woven cotton cloth from the Baule people of the Ivory Coast. Some strips are made up of dark and medium toned blue stripes, and three panels are dark blue, light blue, and white stripes. The light blue stripes have some slight differentiation which looks like a very subtle ikat.
