Indigo Patchwork
Japanese textile traditions involve using materials you already have to create something new - and this piece is a prime example of that. Using fragments of katazome, woven, and indigo fabric, the maker created a piece that was likely intended to use as a gift wrap, or furoshiki. It's striking composition would make for a great wall hanging or small table cover.
