Woven Cotton Blanket (Khes)
Geometric cotton blankets such as this one were traditionally woven in the home by women in both India and Pakistan.
As a result of a large hole, this piece was likely made smaller in the center and stitched together, which is why there is a horizontal seam in addition to the original vertical seam. The fabric from that cut was used to patch the hole. In my opinion, it adds interest to the piece!
